This is the second year of a three year touring project. Canada's most celebrated outdoor dance festival will travel once more to six urban and regional centres in Ontario (Chatham, Kingston, Jane/Finch, Haliburton, Manitoulon Island and Deep River), bringing together artists from Toronto and each of these communities. One Choreographer per town is commissioned to create a new dancework to be performed by local youths. These new works are then included in the Dusk Dances program, giving young performers the opportunity to dance along side professionals. Addtional information may be found at www.duskdances.ca
