An 8K race to raise funds for the Kingston Symphony amd the local YMCA. The object is to run the race in less than the 50 minutes the KSO takes to play Herr B's third symphony. I ran , and beat Beethoven, so these are images of some of the musicians at the post race concert. The lone runner is John Tracie, days from his 84th birthday. He finished first in his age group. He is truly an inspiration. These races are held around the world but as far as we know the KSO is the only Orchestra that actually shows up and plays. ( I'll amend this if anyone knows different). Turns out the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra also plays for their runners.
