This race further solidified our dominant position against similiarly sized universities, however, we faced a large sized university with a more serious athletics program for the first time, Western Washington University. In all events the UPS Men's Novice Team absolutely dominated, with the only "non winning" team, the open weight 4, falling behind our lightweight 4 by two seconds. I'd probably attribute it to Will Pearson taking my spot in the 4's line up, the man is like a turbocharger!
