Spent the day unloading boats, re-rigging, dreaming about eating Krispy Kreme donuts and trying to calm my nerves before my race. After my race i then spent the day re-rigging, loading boats, and eating Krispy Kreme donuts.
The last race... If i didn't have cars to think about i would've cried, but the beautiful sound of rachets at work and exquisite taste of Krispy Kreme donuts kept me occupied. The question, "Should i keep my future WRX bone stock to keep the warranty, or modify?" occupied my mind instead of the one that would be relevant for that day. Ming Nien, hway bu hway huei lai?
The day was also full of accidents too, with the much loved boat, the Raven's bow breaking at it's previous breaking point upon striking the dock, and one of the rental vans totalling a early 90s Celica during some rush hour stop and go traffic.
However, in both case, the damage isn't too bad, as the Rave can be repaired, and the Ford E350 Van's front bumper and lower body sheet metal were only slightly dented. More costs for the team, but oh well, shit happens.
