The Annual Meyer Lamberth Cup Race is basically a long standing duel between two cross town rivals. This year, it was absolutely clear who the winner was going to be even before race day came across, but we were still taunted with a a claim to a "sweep" by our rivals this year: a sweep being winning every single race.

Ironically, we came only one race away from a sweep ourselves. As quote by a unnamed witty member of the novice men's team: "the only thing PLU is going to sweep is our boathouse".
