This is Somers Bay on Flathead Lake in May 2008. The water level was lowered to make room for the spring snow melt from the mountains. The old piers use to hold railroad tracks that went out toward the marina, which use to be part of the lumber mill. The tracks curved right through the small island and back to shore. Lumber was loaded onto the cars there.
