Robinson Preserve is a new preserve that opened in July of 08 in Bradenton FL consisting of 487 acres of shoreline and mangrove forest. It offers refuge for many varieties of shore birds. Most non-native vegetation was removed and native species are being reintroduced. There is a nesting pair of bald eagles in the middle of the park. I observed kingfishers, roseate spoonbills, blue herons, egrets, storks, buzzards, ducks and others I can't identify. This property was on its way to becoming a golf course and condo community when the county purchased it. God bless em
