Elk Herd & Wild Flowers

On our way to Whitefish we passed a Elk farm just over the hill from where we're farm sitting. I got super lucky in that they were moving the cows and calves to another field so they were on the move. The wildflowers were up at Whitefish Mt in the Iron Horse developement.

Like Vern, I had no idea there were Elk farms. Loved the "this go this way, no this way" shots. The babies are adorable. Really nice wild flower shots as well.

This is a great gallery, LInda! LOVE the Elk shots! You are so lucky to live close to places like that! Love the wildflowers, too. We have the Indian Paint Brush wild in TX, too. Wonderful shots!
