We back-tracked slightly from Holbrook to get to Petrified Forest NP. We ended up spending a lot longer than I thought we would here, checking out the Painted Desert, historic Route 66, and (of course) the petrified wood. Then it was on to Meteor Crater. We ended the day in Flagstaff, AZ.
