Day six of our Glacier NP backpacking trip: Stoney Indian Lake campground to Fifty Mountain campground, plus a side-trip up to the Sue Lake Overlook. 10.9 miles, 3,789' elevation gain, 2,714' elevation loss. Once again we ended hiking through wet, waist- and shoulder-deep vegetation for the first half of today's hike. Fortunately we got to Fifty Mountain early in the afternoon and it was very warm and sunny, so we had a chance to dry everything out completely - only to have it drizzle on us a bit after dinner. Then overnight we had an incredibly massive thunderstorm right on top of us.
