Day five of our Glacier NP backpacking trip: Cosley Lake campground to Stoney Indian Lake campground via the Stoney Indian Pass trail. 10.2 miles, 2,468' elevation gain, 1,000' elevation loss. We finally start to keep some of the elevation we've been climbing! Only a little drizzle today, but most of the hike was through waist-deep vegetation which was wet, so we were totally soaked within a mile. Not to mention the two or three unbridged stream crossings. We had a chance to dry things out a little after setting up camp, but it was rather damp out and then it rained a bit overnight again.
