The Invader

The Brown Anole is not native to Louisiana and populations are growing here. The main threat is that populations of the native Green Anole will be reduced.

Excellent detail, Phil. Every scale is clear and sharp. He's well isolated and the eye contact is a very nice plus. Vote.

Beautiful close-up. I did not know this is a separate species. I have been seeing them everywhere in my garden. I thought they were just changing color to blend in and also when they are in the fighting mood.

Excellent details. I've seen one or two of these, but didn't get to photograph one.
