This photo was taken in a pitch black cave to illustrate how good a vertical line laser pointer works to help you focus in low light. The vertical line was turned on, the shutter button was pressed half way so the camera could focus on the vertical line. Then the laser was turned off and the shutter pressed the rest of the way to take the picture.
