I picked up this retro toaster yesterday at a pawn shop for $25. It was in pretty sad shape. So I took it all apart and buffed the crap out of the aluminum and restored it, and now it shines like new. They have been making these same toasters for 60 years. They are hand built in England, and are considered the Rolex of toasters, and are design to last a life time. You can get a brand new one that looks just like this one, but the new ones are all stainless steel. The old ones like this one, are made out of aluminum, so I think they are cooler once you buff them up. Here are the before and after pictures. Yeah, I know, it's just a freaking toaster, but I'm into polishing stuff up.
