Melanie and I both really like this shot. You've made good use of the conditions you encountered in the field with this image. A good photographer knows how to use weather conditions and other environmental factors to strengthen their image. You've used this overcast sky quite nicely for both the clean, even quality of light it gave your subject, and to help create an ominous feel which adds to the fragility of a house built on pillars which disappear beneath the dark water, ...and all under a threatening sky! It's a great and I think, powerful image. Excellent work.
