Three subjects are tough. To my eye, there is a naturally inherently pleasing aspect to a group of 3 subjects. Three seem somehow more balanced than two or four. But placement of each of the three elements becomes very important in this type of shot, and is difficult to get just perfect. I have seen this many times with groups of 3 birds in flight, as you may see when I get around to creating my Bosque del Apache gallery. This one is close, but the placement of the three somehow misses the mark.
