Arctic Terns

These amazing birds migrate from pole to pole, Antarctica to Iceland, breeding in Iceland and other northern countries, then migrating south for the Antarctic Summer. They never experience winter but travel 25,000 miles to make that happen. I found them in large breeding colonies in several places along the southern coast.
