The Maltese Falcon

This gallery is a walk around the ancient island of Malta wich boasts 6000 years of history. The sea, the streets, the corners and the old shops, are the main elements in this collection of imagenes. The humidity and the heat on the islands are intense, features that make the light and the colours very special.
Malta is a place marked by religion. For many centuries, the order known as the "Knights of Malta" had sole rights over the property of the islands.
People from many countries live in this crossroads of cultures currently. It is a wonderful to have been able to share some days with them in this beautiful place.

Paco, Quite a coincidence that you photographed the home of the Knights of Malta , the Knights of St John. At the same time as I have photographed the Round Church at Maplestead which was firstly a hospital, then the Church of the Knights Hospitallers .
