The first 5 images are of the bench that I made. I made a separate stool instead of attaching to the bench.

The rest of the pics are of various benches being built around the internet.

This year I tore mine apart, cut the stringers, and eliminated the last board. It was way behind my elbow and not needed at all. Then I added the screen to the bottom to keep the wasps from making their home here. I used large C clamps and a bar clamp to keep thing tight while screwing together.

Here's the wood that you will need to get started. I did not use 6" x 6" legs. I used 4 x 4s. Plenty good and solid.
