This image looks like there was thought to it, meaning you thought about the elements of composition before taking this picture. Having the wave up towards the top, showing rule of thirds was a great idea. Also having the picture be simple rather than a lot going on was very good and showing the texture of the wave. The lighting in this photo is well lit and taken at a good angle. I really like how there is a balance between the light wave and the dark sand. This image is not very interesting and very original, however I like the thought process in taking the picture. You put your elements of composition into this picture and made it turn out better than it would have if you had no elements. I think this image works exactly the way it is.

Shows off the compositional element of simplicity. Also demonstrates rule of thirds. It's very well lit, and although there is nothing extremely interesting lighting-wise going on it still works. It's a pretty original image, i've seen stuff similar to this before but the angle and the leaves in the sand make it more unique. The only way I would change this would be to move the camera slightly to the left so the leaves were more off centered, but other than that this picture is fantastic.
