This image is very unique, I have never seen anything like this before. To make this image better I would have waited for the subject (the man with the bike) to walk into the light. Its difficult to notice at first where the man is but if he was in the light your eyes would draw right towards him. Good use of light and shadow, but again if the man was in the light it would be more attractive. Because of the strong line of shadow, the line leads you right to the mans chest. Other than the man not being in the light, the photo left an impression on me because its very well positioned and because you saw the shadow and light in the photo it makes the photo better than no shadow or light. -Haley
Originality I like the concept and originality of this image. The only improvement would be if the position of the person was more into the light, so that a shadow could be casted behind them, but you can't control where the person stands. Composition This photo did use elements of composition. The elements are leading lines, texture, and pattern. I do not have any suggestions for composition. Light The light used in this image is hard, side light. The light makes the image interesting because the man is in the darkness. I don't have any light suggestions. Impression This image leaves a good impression on me. I really like how the light comes into the image and strengthens the darkness and shadows. -Kacey
