I think you could have used more elements of compositions, such as rule of thirds. The picture would be more improved if you exposed lines from the street to help with leading lines. -Jackie
Originality: I've seen stuff with similar subjects to this before, but it's unique in the way its framed. Most city bike pictures are more hipster-esque but this seems very natural, it's is a nice change of pace. Composition: Strong use of Rule of Thirds, Simplicity, & Leading Lines. If the bike had been slightly angled outward the lines of the tire shadows and the street would have been parallel. Light: Strong backlight creating deep shadows & light lines in the sky which make the picture seem really airy despite the fact that a city is subject. Impression: It makes the viewer want to move, looking at a picture like this makes having to sit in a seat feel almost intolerable.
I really like this picture. The light is casting a strong shadow on the wheels of the bike. I think it would be more interesting if the guy on the bike was sitting down or you could possibly see a stop sign in the corner of the photo, showing that he is waiting to continue riding the bike. Overall great job! :)- Jackie
