The is the RM-CB1 remote cable, it is for the E-XX cameras. It is just like an old cable release but for digital cameras. This is a MUST have, if you do much tripod shooting. Plugs into the camera, you then can half press the button for focus and then full press to take the picture. You can also push the little lock up and it will hold the button down until you release it.

I have added a small velcro square to the back and one on the tripod, this really work nice, the remote is always in the same place when I need it. More then I can say for the TV remote
