This was an "Upside Down" tree in the Rain Forest Gardens in Juneau Alaska. It was put into the ground upside down with its roots in the air. They put landscape fabric in the well of the roots, added soil and plants and this is the result. There are many more of these, all with different flower plantings, throughout the gorgeous garden.
