Challenge Period: Sunday, December 15th, 2002 until 8 PM PST** on Sunday, January 5th, 2003
Rules: Images taken with any Olympus digital or dSLR camera, during the challenge period, will be eligible for the challenge. There are no limitations to creativity using any photo editing software, however, the fire and/or ice must be photographed and not created with digital editing.
How To Enter: Email pictures to olychallenge@pacbell.net by 8 PM PST on January 5th. Put "challenge" or "exhibition" in the subject line when submitting photos to indicate which gallery your image should be posted. Please be kind and if possible email well in advance of the deadline. Entries should provide:

1) Title of each image
2) Date of photo
3) Olympus Digicam model
4) Name of photographer (dpreview nickname is fine)
5) Description (optional), though camera settings are helpful.

About Sizing: All entries should have a 4:3 ratio; 700x525 or as close to it as possible is recommended.
Number of Entries Per Person: 1 Challenge entry per participant; 2 entries max for Exhibition
The Challenge Gallery: is for competing images taken during the Challenge period with an Olympus digicam. Please note: The Challenge Gallery is hidden until voting begins. Additionally, photographer's names will be withheld until the conclusion of voting.
The Exhibition Gallery: is for images taken before the Challenge Period with any camera. This is where you can intimidate, psych-out, and generally inspire awe from those you will soon be artistically crushing during the challenge.
