Challenge 67: "It's Right There In Black & White" Hosted by RichardR

You've all heard the expression made to prove a point; "It's right there in black and white" and your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to make your photographic point with a black & white image.

Several recent posts with B&W images and the comments thereto made me think that this would be a good topic to challenge your creativity and readjust your way of seeing without color. While the old masters, such as, Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward Weston, and others, were limited by B&W film, their vision to use light, contrast, shadows, form, and subject content to create powerful images was limited only by their imagination.

Here are some samples of those masters' work:

Your challenge is not to try and emulate those masters but to use your own creativity and favorite subject matter to produce images in your own style. Whether your camera has the capability to shoot in B&W or you convert color images don't matter so long as the submitted image is black & white.

No sepia, infra-red, or other monochromes, just pure B&W with shades of grey, of course.

The general guidelines are located here and cover most aspects of the challenge.
