This panorama was taken from a nice comfortable shady spot under a huge fallen monolith. Bud spent a day off here reading _Touching_The_Void_ of all things! We had two rest days between climbing days while camped in Palisade Basin, we spent time doing laundry, reading, and arguing about whether temperature readings should be taken in the sun or in the shade (apparently some do not consider "in the shade" to be a universal axiom... this actually took quite a bit of arguing!)
