The trail up to Bishop Pass is a lot of switch-backs through a talus
field. Nice to have a trail! A little earlier we ran into a Forest
Service crew maintaining the trail. They were out for nine days. Hiked
out with sledge hammers, crow bars, pick axes, two dogs, and nine days
worth of food! We were glad we were just carrying climbing gear and four
days of food!
