Having failed at one dog/cat introduction a couple of years ago, I was not looking forward to introducing the, at the time unnamed, cat to Sammy

However, she just walked into the room lay down and ignored him. He didn't hiss once, he just walked right up to her sniffed, then rolled his head into her expecting her to scratch behind his ears! I was amazed.

Sammy has never gotten to be really happy or excited about the cat, but she'll tolerate him being around, sometimes even climbing on her. She's such a mellow dog!
