My trip to Italy took place during the last week of November and the first week of December of 2005. I made two day trips one to Rome and one to Venice. My stay was mainly in Florence for EU funds management training. That meant that I was in office better part of the day. We normally got out around two in the afternoon and the office was rather far from the main attractions. And the sun set early during that time of the year. This meant that we had about one and a half or two hours of day light time. In addition, the five of the six days that I was in Florence it rained.
