These pictures taken this day had a strobe laying on the table as a slave to my internal flash. It's what created the sharp shadow on the back wall but it also created a nice and bright image on the faces. The CoolPix 5000's flash is nearly useless in my opinion so knowing that I'd be taking lots of images when Matthew was over, I put the 350w/s strobe on the table.
