Toward the end of the awards banquet where the Australian photographers swept the event, Skip Cohen came back to the front where Joe Photo handed him some glasses and Skp impersonated Ray Charles. It went on for a few seconds and way too many frames given my love of the D2x's gatlin gun response. The shading at the bottom is the natural vignette of the crowd. I shot from the very back of the event using the high speed crop mode and my beloved 70-200 2.8VR beauty.
