Have you ever read "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe"?
When the walk through the closet and enter the other world this is sort what I saw in my head reading it as a kid.

I believe the reality is that these trees were planted just after the war or during the great depression to distribute work.
I may be wrong but I thought that's how we had trees of this age in such perfect rows.
If I'm wrong or there could be other logical reasons, please let me know.
