I bought a 2x extender for my digital last night to use on the eclipse. I was bummed about the quality but since we had good skies tonight I tried again on the regular moon.
I was using 300mm with 2x giving me 600mm but with the D100's 1.5x magnification I basically got a 900mm zoom here.
