Notice the pier was gloss ice. I didn't dare to walk down much further for fear my camera wouldn't take the fall.
Lake Michigan is to my left while the catwalk splits the pier in half with the Grand River Channel to the right.
I would guess I was about 1/3 of the way down the pier. It's hard to see here but there are people by the end
