Cold Night Photos

The underlying story is that it was extremely cold and blustery late at night on January 18, 2003, when many of these photos were taken. The snow was coming down at a medium-fast pace which blurred all distant objects and created more of a glow in the sky. Sometimes "photos speak louder than words" or even say more than moving images but unfortunately in this series of photos the most important elements are not easily seen; the cold and the large snow flakes. Grand Rapids, Michigan is often thought of as bland, boring, life-less, or other negative thoughts but I hope that even thought I've thought these things in the past, the images will help to bring some life to those who've lived here or visited here with the same thoughts.
