The aspiring beginners favorite river. A beatiful setting in a bird reserve with lots of existing rapids up to grade IV that all can be portaged or avoided with chicken lines. One hour drive on the ring road east from Akureyri. Estimate 4 hours to paddle this river.

Awesome waterfall shots. Mesa Falls is in SE Idaho on the Henry's Fork of the Snake river. Enjoy!
