The Great Petrok, Master Librarian of the Iron Snakes

These are some pictures of the Petrok model I did for the Atlanta GD 2005. He took Silver in 40k single. I have really enjoyed the Dan Abnett books, and short stories in Inferno! magazine, and I decided it was time to pay homage in the form of this mini. I hope that others who have read the stories enjoy my vision of the Great Petrok.

The basic idea of the "big pipes" was an idea I saw on Brother Sinaer's website, and as far as I know, originated from MadScuzzy from B&C. Thank you to both!!

awesome job! I do think it would be a no brainer about the terminator armour, how could a CHEIF LIBRARIAN not have a set of terminator armor? im starting an army on these guys to! i read the book and i loved their chapter the iron snakes rule-i even have a kick butt special mini of sgt. priad

As Chief Librarian he would most certainly have Terminator Honours. I realize he wasn't depicted in terminator armour in the few Inferno! short stories/comic strips that featured him, but that certainly doesn't mean he didn't have a set back on Karybdis. Cheers, Ben
