Here is a picture of me running the Chicago Marathon Oct. 12th 2003 (my 1st marathon
and something I'm real proud of). That's me in the middle. This picture was from the
half-way marker (13.1 mile). Chicago is a biggy over 32,000 runners actually show up
(36,000 runners register) I placed 8,285 at 3 hr 51 min 50 sec. (not bad for an old guy)
average mile 8 min 50 sec. It sounds tough but it was a lot fun. They claim they have
over a million spectators, so you get a real big charge out of the crowd. It was a lot
of fun and very rewarding. Regards, Jeff G.
