You have some wonderful photos in your galleries Geoff, but, I must admit, when I clicked on your name and the first photo that appeared was a snake I had second thoughts about going any further :)

I hope you looked at other things as well as the shadow. Your work is very good and inspiring. I am in the process of putting up work. My 'husband photographing' gallery is one I most enjoy posting since he takes me to incredibly beautiful places which makes it easy to do 'monkey photography (as he calls my work). Frankly, while I don't know much about f stops or apertures, I have enjoyed the playing with photoshop. Maybe photographing for public display is another way of "u tubing" or 'my spacing. You have an eye for beauty as I see it so it is a pleasure to view your work. I like the animals, nature, feathers and incredible sunsets from Arizona. I didn't see all of the galleries but enough to know. It's always nice to receive responses from people who see your work. Enjoy it.

Geoff. Thank you for visiting my Sonora Desert Museum gallery. So you are in Ashland!
This will be the first year we have not gone to the theatre there for our anniversary.
Just moved to Tucson from Northern California.
YOur mountain cat picture is great -- sorry I did not have a powerful zoom to do the animal justice.

Thanks for the kind words in my gallery of recent Arizona photos. I enjoyed seeing some of your Arizona shots of locations that we tourists don't even know about.

My wife and I are from Virginia, but usually spend most of our time in Green Valley area (my son is a Border Patrol agent). This was our first visit to Lake Powell and North Rim areas. The Southwest, particularly Arizona, is an awesome place.

Geoff - thanks for your kind comments about my PBase galleries. I have looked at yours and I am impressed. My favorite is the storm brewing one with the dark sky and sunlit foreground. Very nice work. I will check back frequently.

I've in the process of buying a digital camera, the nikon D70 just doesn't seem to have a high enough pixel rating for me, If I plan on going strickly digital, I need a camera I can make a 30x40 from with out any problem? Do you think the D70 can do this?
Guest 05-Sep-2005 02:13
