It was cloudy and drizzling rain when we went to the open air museum of Göreme passing this place along the road where fairy chimneys reflecting all the present light, spooky dooming up in the landscape.

The erosion is in a stage that makes actual housing dangerous, parts of the rock coming loose and falling down, it cost a lot to fix and stop this slow-erosion process, so there were abandoned by the local people and now protected by Unesco.
