To give a better idea how the countryside looks like around Madurai, this small scene of a village on the way to Mungalam.

On the left a very imposive house in decay most probably from a formal rich farmer, the children were chasing the goat between the wood used for cooking.

A refreshing village, cool between the trees all around, I was happy to stop the byke here for a moment, the sun was going down enlightening only the mountain at the horizont.

No the 5D doesn't have to deliver faded shots, even raisor sharp at ISO-800, only a slight local sharpening for screen was needed, color and contrast needed a more an intens workflow.
