Like anywhere in the world house-women like chatting and Tamil women chatter around very loud.
They even were so involved that they didn't notice that I turned around and took this shot except then for the two listeners not taking part in the discussion.

The sun was low, pierced and reflected itself in this little street of the compound where no traffic can come. These are the sunny colors of a hot Madurai, no more, no less, the houses still freshly paint as they do every year before Poongal (Festival of the harvest 15 Jan).
