In the beginning I met him I gave a Tamil friend some money to give it to him. But one day I sat down with him and we talked ... he had so much joy in life that I made some kind of promise to myself: every time I pass him I give him 10 Rps, not so important anymore to him as he puts everything aside to have a chat together. This day he showed me proudly the new tricycle he got from the goverment. Before he often drank alcohol, but nowadays he stopped and he knows I am happy about that. He is very well respected at the place where he tries to get some money for his survival: right in front of a restaurant.
