It is not only the bull-fighting but also the bull-racings that are held in the same period of Poongal festival in the suburbs of Madurai.

Not that those races are less dangerous, imagine, such a race in the middle of the town , no special precautions on the public raod, traffic simply has to stop ....

And just after taking off, that car that you see on the left, jumped right behind me over a stone beside the road and turned upside down. Lucky no one was badly hurt.

Just after taking this shot I had to pull myself back as the bull was heading straight towards my camera.
