The Tokali Church

Nevsehir City: Goreme

Must have been a very good guide, there right in the middle. No one was distracted by my camera while they were admiring the beautiful paintings animated by the colourful descriptions.

Catching some fragments of the guide's story, the origin of these paintings must have been done around 963 AD by some Greek orthodox monks. But to get an even better impression of these marvellous paintings, take a look here.

True that Göreme has a lot more to offer then only sensational bal-loons or "Vallées des Phallus", even here you risk a stiff neck by looking up once again.
