Usman is raised moslim but converted to Ayappan as he goes there on pilgrimage by foot for more then a week. His love-marriage with Baradi, a fisherman-daughter, isolated him from his family living now in the fisherman colony of Mahabalipuram itself. As a teastall-man his earning was very low, never having the money for an operation. He was lucky, as he inquired he heard that the operation was free paid by the governement except for the medication, so that was on me. Finaly the child was born and opened as a key his respect in their community and renewed the relationship with his parents. I'm proud that I could push him back into the stream of life.
