I've never seen so many acorns,
this year there are thousands falling
from the trees, they're bouncing off the
roof, hitting the cars, beaning you on your
head....now to rake them up before they
sprout and take hold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Matthew Fisher, got a shock there, my son is called Matthew Fisher and I was gobsmacked to see his name while trying to find out when acorns start to fall. I live in Shiregreen in Sheffield England. I have a couple of jays visit my garden and want to go out and treat them to acorns, at the mo they come for the monkey nuts I put out for the sqirrels. SHiregreen is mainly a council housing estate on outskirts of Sheffield. Unfortunately I don't live in the countryside, would love to. Anyway just thought I'd make contact with my middle son's namesake, take care Best regards June Mundun
