Dominated by the Mare Imbrium this shot details Copernicus Crater very nicely as well as the nearby Carpatus and Appeninus ranges. To the North of the Mare Imbrium Plato Crater and the Alpine Valley shows. Crater Landsberg shows nicely south of Copernicus and we see the Riphaeus Mts. and Crater Bullialdus adjacent to the Mare Nubium. Finally the great Tycho shows well towards the bottom of the image but is not so gaudy as usual missing most of its' great rays in this image.
