Thanks everyone. Just to confirm that the EXIF is correct. This was done with the 50mm f2 macro and the ex-25 extension tubes. Flash was handheld at an angle to bring out the texture - that's all.

Amazing macro!! I can't imagine getting this close; must be one heckuva lens you have there. The textures and the pattern combine to make this unforgettable. Brenda

Really nice shot Fritz, the texture and detail is really great. I think this belongs in the exhibition though if the EXIF date is correct.
